Using the behavior palette

The behavior palette provides an easy way to trigger avatar gestures. We grouped the default animations available in Second Life for your avatar under the following categories.

The 'Face category' groups facial expressions, the 'Body' category refers to the set of animations that involves body motions, the 'Casual' category refers to animations/poses that an avatar may be expressing casually. Of course the grouping is very subjective but will hopefully make sense to you and will allow you to find the right gesture quickly.

To make it easier to take good snapshots, you may choose to select 'Slow Motions Animations'.

Clicking on a particular menu item such as 'laugh', in this case, will make your avatar laugh.

You can also trigger for example a 'high kick' by clicking on the 'Fight tab' and selecting the 'high kick r' menu item.
